Cello Dias

Cello Dias is a former bassist for the Heavy Metal veteran band “Soulfly” a band he formed with with Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura) & Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour) in 1997. He played a major part in the recording of the first 3 most relevant Soulfly albums (Soulfly, Primitive, 3), receiving a “RIAA Gold album certificate” in US as well other countries for Soulfly’s debut album which sold 2 million copies worldwide.

Cello and Soulfly achieved international recognition touring the world for many years and sharing the stage with acts like Black Sabbath, Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, Tool, Pantera and others.

Cello Dias promo Living in the Los Angeles area since 2004, Cello had the opportunity to jam with many local talents. In July of 2009, after introduction from close friend Roy Mayorga, he started jamming with former PUDDLE OF MUDD’s original guitarist & song writer Jimmy Allen. He later joined the Allen’s band Against All Will (AAW). AAW boast ripe, radio-friendly rock songs replete with fat hooks, huge choruses, and melodies that linger long after the music has stopped.

Against All Will, The Dirty Truth and Soul of Rock & Roll is currently working on new material to be released this summer.
